Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Catlettsburg, KY seeks an Engineer 4 for the MRF, reporting to Port Engineers. You will work with Operations, performing decking duties and preventative maintenance on the motor vessel.

Travel to and from the vessel for crew changes is expected; include Tankerman License, Deckhand 1 Qualification Booklet, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver license. Full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Tankerman License Verification required.
• Deckhand 1 Qualification Booklet must be complete and signed off.
• Must hold a valid driver license.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic preventative maintenance for the engine room.
• Complete vessel orientation for the smaller class of vessels.
• Safely fuel the motor vessel.
• Maintain decking duties (barge work, making locks, and any task requested by the Vessel Captain).
• Perform general boat maintenance.
• Participate in the Marine SSP (Safety Process).
• Participate in environmental or safety initiatives.
• Assist shore side with vessel outages.
