Bluewater Yachting seeks an experienced Deck/Engineer for a 34m private motor yacht. You will be working alongside the yachts full time sole engineer. Responsibilities include hydraulics, electrics, tenders and air conditioning maintenance, as well as exterior maintenance.

The position is a winter seasonal contract with possible extension; it is located between Antibes and Nice, with potential summer continuation if the fit is right.

Qualifications

• STCW and ENG1 certifications are required.
• YM Offshore certification is preferred.
• AEC 1 and AEC 2 certifications are beneficial.
• 2–3 seasons of deckhand or engineer experience required.

Responsabilités

• Perform hydraulics, electrics, tenders and air conditioning maintenance.
• Maintain exterior of the yacht and routine upkeep with crew support.
• Handle stainless, teak, inventory and general maintenance tasks.

Seeking an experienced Deck/Engineer for a 34m private motor yacht.

Deck/Engineer Position

34m private motor yacht

You will be working alongside the yachts full time sole engineer.

Jobs include hydraulics, electrics, tenders and air con maintenance.

In addition to the engineering works you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht.

Routine maintenance including weekly wash downs with support from other crew, stainless, teak, cika flexing, inventory etc.

Ideally looking for someone between Antibes and Nice that perhaps lives ashore and comes and goes to the yacht. If all goes well through the winter we would consider keeping the person on for summer 2027.

Contract: Winter seasonal contract, possible extension

Experience: 2-3 seasons as a deckhand or engineer or both

Salary: DOE TBC
