Job summary

Glacier is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen the Finance team and support business performance across its sites in Belgium and France. You will lead budgeting, product costing, financial analysis, and management reporting, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D and Commercial teams to translate data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or working toward one.
• Experience as Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Cost Accountant, or Finance Business Partner.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or related industry.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems experience.
• Knowledge of standard costing, product costing, and inventory valuation.
• Experience supporting operational teams in production.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting process across departments.
• Develop budgets and forecasts with managers.
• Monitor monthly budget performance and explain variances.
• Support reforecasting and long-term planning.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation across products and cost centres.
• Maintain standard product costs and costing methodologies.
• Assist inventory valuation and month-end closings.
• Prepare monthly management reports and presentations.
• Provide recommendations to improve profitability.
