Wärtsilä seeks a Maintenance Planner to support long-term service agreements for its Marine 4-stroke portfolio. The preferred location is Marseille, with potential for Vaasa and hybrid work arrangements.

You will provide quarterly reports, budgets and scope of work for overhauls, and coordinate maintenance activities within a skilled team.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Production engineering or equivalent.
• Theoretical 4-stroke diesel engine knowledge.
• Basic IT-software skills (e.g. Office 365).
• Good cooperation, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Fluent in written and spoken French.

• Follow up on performed services and update supporting software tools.
• Work as part of an energetic maintenance management team with diverse expertise.

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner with a main responsibility in maintenance planning support towards long-term service agreements in the Marine 4-stroke portfolio.

The preferred location for this position is Marseille, France but also Vaasa, Finland is a possible location. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Planner, your work will include providing quarterly reports, budgets & scope of work for overhauls, following up on performed services and updating the supporting software tools accordingly. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You will be working as a part of an energetic maintenance management team with diverse expertise.

Requirements for the position:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Production engineering or equivalent
• Theoretical 4-stroke diesel engine knowledge
• Basic IT-software skills (e.g. office 365)
• Good cooperation, teamwork, and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Fluent in written and spoken French

As an ideal candidate, you might also have:

• Field service experience on Marine 4-s engines
• Knowledge of CMMS, PMS tools
• Extrovert with advanced communication skills
• Understanding of contractual and financial business
• Understanding of maintenance planning
