Job summary

RCN le Moulin de la Pique, a five-star campsite in Dordogne, invites you to an outdoor Maintenance & Grounds internship this summer. You’ll work in a friendly international team, learn daily maintenance routines, and gain hands-on experience in keeping the campsite running smoothly.

You’ll check pool water, help with the aquapark, perform repairs, and engage with guests while developing practical skills in maintenance and landscaping.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You are studying maintenance, engineering, landscaping or a related subject.
• You speak Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• You are seeking an internship during the summer holidays.
• You enjoy hands-on work and are eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend time outdoors and learn about maintenance tasks at a five-star campsite.

Maintenance & Grounds Internship

Spend your summer gaining new experiences at a five-star campsite in the Dordogne. During your Maintenance & Grounds internship at RCN le Moulin de la Pique, you'll work outdoors, learn something new every day and become part of a friendly international team.

One morning, you might start by checking the swimming pool water and helping maintain the aquapark. Later, you'll head out with a colleague to fix a technical issue in one of our holiday accommodations. Along the way, you'll chat with guests and help keep the campsite looking its best.

There's plenty to do outdoors too. You'll help with pruning, mowing, looking after trees and plants, and maintaining the beautiful green surroundings. You'll learn how to solve technical problems, use different tools and discover what it takes to keep a holiday park running smoothly.

You'll never be on your own. There's always a colleague ready to help, you'll receive plenty of guidance and you'll have the chance to share what you'd like to learn. More interested in maintenance or landscaping? We'll explore how to tailor your internship to your interests.

Who are we?

RCN le Moulin de la Pique is a five-star campsite on a historic estate in the Dordogne, the land of a thousand and one castles, surrounded by rolling green valleys and magnolias. The showpiece is Aquapark la Pique, a water park with four swimming pools and three spectacular water slides. Park management speaks Dutch.

The atmosphere on the park is warm and informal. You really do it together, pitch in across teams when needed, and there is always something fun going on. The teams are diverse: you work with Dutch and international colleagues. A real holiday atmosphere, even behind the scenes.

What we're looking for

• You enjoy hands‑on work and are eager to learn new skills.

What will you learn?

During your internship, you'll discover just how varied maintenance and grounds work at a holiday park can be. You'll learn how to carry out maintenance tasks and solve technical problems, but also how to work independently, set priorities and work with your colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills, ask questions and gradually take on more responsibility. You'll also gain experience working in an international team and interacting with guests. All valuable practical experience that will help you in your studies and future career.

• An internship allowance of € 630 per month if your internship lasts longer than two months. An allowance for shorter internships may also be possible.
