Belmont Lavan Ltd in Lyon seeks a senior functional consultant to lead Microsoft 365 and Copilot initiatives. You will translate business needs into practical technology solutions, design scalable workflows, and guide adoption across business units.

You will plan and document workshops, produce functional blueprints, support deployment and migration activities, and apply change management practices to realise value from Microsoft 365 capabilities and Copilot.

• Maintain broad functional knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and evolving capabilities.
• Develop knowledge of Copilot and Copilot Studio to support business processes.
• Stay up-to-date with AI and Microsoft 365 features and their business applications.
• Understand Microsoft Cloud architecture and pursue relevant certifications.
• Lead the full implementation lifecycle from discovery to adoption.
• Analyse and document business needs from a functional perspective with standard Microsoft capabilities.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of standardised processes.
• Plan, facilitate and document functional workshops with stakeholders.
• Design functional solutions using standard Microsoft 365 functionality for scalability and adoption.
• Define and manage project scope based on business requirements.
• Consolidate requirements and communicate to business and technical stakeholders.
• Conduct Fit-Gap analyses and produce blueprints and designs.
• Support configuration of Microsoft 365 solutions per functional design.
• Provide functional input to developers for custom work.
• Support transition and deployment, including training and migration activities.
• Contribute to change management and user adoption through training and guidance.
• Apply recognised change management principles; PROSCI certification or equivalent is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain broad functional knowledge of Microsoft 365 productivity applications, with a commitment to continuous learning as the platform evolves.

• Develop and apply knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, including understanding how Copilot and Copilot Agents can support and enhance business processes.

• Keep up to date with emerging AI and Microsoft 365 capabilities and develop a clear understanding of how these technologies can be applied in business environments.

• Develop a strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud architecture and pursue relevant Microsoft certifications and professional development.

• Take an active role throughout the full implementation lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to deployment, transition, and adoption.

• Analyse and document business needs and processes from a functional perspective, aligning them with standard Microsoft 365 capabilities.

• Contribute to the development and optimisation of standardised business processes.

• Plan, facilitate, and document functional workshops with business stakeholders.

• Design functional solutions using standard Microsoft 365 functionality, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and user adoption.

• Define and manage project scope based on agreed business requirements.

• Consolidate requirements and communicate them clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

• Conduct Fit-Gap analyses and produce clear functional blueprints and solution designs.

• Support the configuration of Microsoft 365 solutions in line with the agreed functional design.

• Provide clear functional input to developers for custom development, integrations, and extensions where required.

• Support the transition and deployment phase, including key-user training, solution validation, migration preparation, and execution of migration activities.

• Contribute to change management and user adoption activities, including training sessions, webinars, user guidance, and quick reference materials.

• Apply recognised change management principles and methodologies. PROSCI certification or equivalent experience is considered an advantage.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who combines strong functional consulting skills with a genuine interest in Microsoft 365, Copilot, and emerging AI technologies.
