Wandercraft is seeking an Electronics R&D Engineer in Paris to lead the design, validation and industrialization of embedded electronic systems. You will work across the full development cycle with mechanical, industrialization and software teams to ensure reliable, compliant products for demanding industrial and medical environments.

You will design mixed-signal electronics, execute validation campaigns (functional, environmental, EMC, safety), and contribute to certification efforts with labs.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or Master in Electronics with 3+ years in electronic design in industrial environments.
  • Experience with analog and digital design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of validation, testing, and certification processes (EMC, electrical safety).

Responsabilités

  • Design mixed-signal embedded electronic systems and select components.
  • Create schematics, layout PCBs, and validate designs through tests.
  • Participate in design reviews with focus on reliability and compliance.
  • Develop test benches and validation tools; conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Prepare certification files and collaborate with labs and notified bodies.
  • Support industrialization and ensure product conformity in series production.

You will join an experienced team of five engineers and collaborate closely with all company teams, in particular with:* **Mechanical Team** to ensure proper integration of electronic subsystems.* **Industrialization Team** to ensure design choices are compatible with cost, manufacturability, and production constraints.* **Embedded Software Team** for system integration and validation.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:* Design of mixed-signal (analog/digital) embedded electronic systems.* Schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.* Participation in design reviews with a strong focus on reliability, testability, and compliance.* Definition and execution of validation and verification test campaigns (functional, environmental, EMC, safety, etc.).* Design and development of test benches and validation tools.* Debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex technical issues.* Preparation and follow-up of certification activities (industrial and medical standards), in collaboration with external laboratories and notified bodies.* Analysis of test results, identification of non-conformities, and implementation of corrective actions.* Contribution to risk analysis (FMEA) and robustness of system design.* Writing and maintenance of technical documentation (test reports, certification files, design justifications, traceability).* Support to industrialization and production teams to ensure product conformity and reliability in series.* Technical monitoring of applicable standards and regulatory requirements.## Preferred ExperienceJoining Wandercraft means taking part in a unique technological and human adventure. Skills in battery pack development / design are a plus.You bring strong experience in validation, testing, and certification of electronic systems.
