Le Collectionist is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee and coordinate the housekeeping team across chalets and common areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role directly impacts guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.

The position requires leadership, meticulous planning, and the ability to manage external teams, stock, and budgets, with weekend rotation during peak season and a 4.5‑month term starting 1 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping, with some experience in team management or supervision, ideally in a high-end hotel or a luxury chalet setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards regarding cleanliness and quality.
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
• Natural leadership, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during busy periods.
• Good knowledge of cleaning, hygiene and safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise external housekeeping teams, planning work schedules and allocating tasks.
• Monitor the teams’ performance and ensure compliance with the company’s quality, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the managers of our partner cleaning companies, ensuring clear, professional and effective communication.
• Carry out regular inspections of all chalets and communal areas (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, etc.). Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and the overall presentation of the properties.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning products, linen and consumables, and arrange restocking as needed.
• Oversee forecasting of linen requirements, ordering and distribution for all booked properties.
• Oversee preparation, packaging and distribution of welcome amenities for each guest stay.
• Help manage the housekeeping budget by monitoring expenditure and overseeing financial control.
• Check and process invoices from independent cleaning contractors and linen suppliers.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Handle guest requests relating to housekeeping with discretion and efficiency.
• Work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating on-site basis during high season.
