Job summary

Amo is seeking a Location Data Engineer to transform raw data into meaningful signals, insights, and features. You will build reliable pipelines and develop production-ready data products across Spark, DBT, BigQuery and related tech.

You will work with product, engineering and data teams to turn learnings into robust systems, with a focus on data quality, insights, and impactful signals for product experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with data-intensive systems.
• Very comfortable with SQL and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with modern data technologies such as Spark, DBT, Dagster, BigQuery, ClickHouse, DuckDB, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Make sense of large, complex datasets to understand user behavior and identify patterns and signals.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines that process large data volumes reliably.
• Develop datasets and features powering product experiences, analytics, and ML models.
• Work with engineers and product teams to identify opportunities where data can improve products.
• Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of data infrastructure.
