Amo is seeking a Location Platform Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure that collects and processes location data across devices. You will work on production systems, focusing on performance, privacy, and OS compatibility.

Senior candidates may lead the platform and mentor others; juniors will contribute under guidance, gaining end-to-end experience in backend Rust and client-side Rust, Kotlin, and Swift.

Qualifications

• Solid foundations in low-level programming or backend development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services (Rust) and client-side codebases (Rust, Kotlin, Swift).
• Contribute to systems that handle high traffic and large volumes of location data.
• Improve scalability, reliability, and performance under guidance or independently depending on experience.
• Monitor system metrics, triage bugs, and address performance issues.
• Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to maintain a unified user experience.
