Job summary

Alma is hiring an Analytics Engineer to strengthen data foundations across Finance, Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations. You will transform raw data into trusted datasets used for reporting and decision-making, and help standardize data models and governance.

You will work with dbt, BigQuery, Looker, GCP, Argo, Git, and Claude, collaborating with Data Analysts and Engineers to deliver reliable, self-service analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• Practical experience with dbt: models, tests, and documentation.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and collaboration with technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw data into trusted datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Build reusable data models, tests, and documentation with dbt and Looker.
• Improve data lineage, governance, and semantic layers across tables.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to enable self-service analytics.
• Participate in code reviews and analytics engineering standards.
