EasyMile SAS in Toulouse invites a motivated university student for a 6-month internship to improve localization monitoring safety functions within the EZShield team. You will model and simulate localization monitoring strategies using Odometry and IMU data, aiming to enhance diagnostic coverage for the vehicle's localization pipeline.

You will develop software to run on a high-integrity ECU, perform Software-in-the-Loop tests, and execute vehicle-level tests in Toulouse to validate parameters

Qualifications

• Student in computer science or embedded software engineering (enrolled at university/engineering school).
• Familiarity with positioning and localization tech is a plus.
• English and French language skills required.

Responsabilités

• Model localization monitoring strategies based on Odometry and IMU sensors to improve diagnostic coverage.
• Simulate the designed monitoring algorithms in a virtual environment to evaluate behavior and safety performance.
• Develop monitoring software to run on a high-integrity ECU.
• Run comprehensive simulated tests (SIL/HIL) to verify robustness before deployment.
• Conduct vehicle-level tests in Toulouse to fine-tune monitoring parameters and validate the safety solution.
