EasyMile SAS, based in Toulouse, offers a 6-month internship in the EZDrive - Navigation team starting January 2027 (flexible). The project focuses on path planning and control for a pseudo-omnidirectional wheeled vehicle, developing ROS-based software and testing in a simulated environment.

You will contribute to steering modality development, integrate it into maneuvers, and work with multilingual engineering peers on challenging autonomous vehicle software.

Qualifications

• Engineering student (Master’s level or equivalent) with focus on robotics, autonomous systems, or software engineering.
• Programming skills in C++ and Python.
• English and French language skills.
• Desirable: Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar middleware.
• Knowledge on robotics features (navigation, path planning, …)

Responsabilités

• Developing a steering method allowing to plan maneuver trajectories;
• Developing a multi-input multi-output controller for commanding the four wheels of the vehicle;
• Integrating the new steering modality in the execution of our maneuvers;
• Performing tests on a simulated environment.
