Aviapartner in France seeks personnel to perform baggage and cargo handling, loading, and towing operations. The role covers sorting by destination, equipment setup, and secure transport of cargo or baggage for aircraft.

Candidates should be familiar with airline procedures and be able to work outdoors in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Experience of three to six weeks in a related airline operations role.
• Mastery of airline procedures.

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION

Participate in sorting, loading, and unloading of baggage and/or cargo in the baggage gallery, on the runway, and in the hold (manually and/or with equipment/tools)

• Sort baggage and/or cargo and group by destination or type.
• Load/unload on carts, containers, or any other means provided.
• Position baggage and/or cargo and containers in the hold according to the loading plan.
• Open and close hold doors.

Participate in setting up equipment upon arrival and departure of the aircraft.

• Chock the aircraft, mark and remove chocks and markings.

Prepare, clean, refuel, and store ground equipment and materials.

Drive and tow equipment to ensure loading and unloading of the hold, boarding and disembarking of passengers

• Transport baggage and/or cargo using designated means (tractors, carts, container loaders…).
• Transport and handle equipment upon arrival and departure of the aircraft outside the ZEC.

Set up equipment upon arrival and departure of the aircraft

• Chock the aircraft, mark and remove chocks and markings.

Assist the aircraft

• Transport any equipment necessary for aircraft handling for which trained and authorized by the hierarchy (e.g., GPU (Ground Power Unit), 400 Hz, ASU (Air Starter Unit), ACU (Air Conditioning Unit), AHU (Air Heating Unit),…).

Communicate

• Transmit information between teams and various stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with safety rules and security measures

• Report safety or security-related events.

REQUIRED SKILLS / PREREQUISITES FOR THE POSITION

• The position typically requires a professional experience of three to six weeks.
• Mastery of airline procedures.

REQUIRED DEGREES / ACCREDITATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

• The position does not require qualifications other than those obtained through compulsory education.
• Holder of a driver's license.
• Holder of certifications related to the activity (e.g., equipment operation).
• Obtain and master mandatory authorizations and permits.

POSITION CHARACTERISTICS AND ENVIRONMENT

• The job is carried out in regulated areas and requires administrative authorizations.
• Shift work including weekends and holidays.
• Mainly outdoor work.
• Wearing professional attire and safety equipment is mandatory.
• Compliance with the "Uniform Charter" is mandatory (uniform, presentation, behavior).
