Job summary

Air Apps is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the finance team in Lisbon. This is a fully onsite position with relocation support for a motivated early-career finance professional in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will work with senior finance colleagues and cross-functional teams on month-end close, reporting, and process improvements, gaining exposure to ERP tools and global financial operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related area.
• Degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with financial systems or ERPs (Netsuite, Payhawk, Ramp, or similar) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities and related reporting.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports to support decision-making.
• Perform accounting records, bank transactions and support tax compliance activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Operations to gather data and align financial insights with business goals.
• Support review and reconciliation of expense reports, bank statements, AR balances and AP balances.
• Support cash flow monitoring and cost analysis efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of financial processes and tools, including ERP and expense management systems.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data through careful review and reconciliation.
