Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking a Space Cybersecurity Architect for the IRIS² programme, based in France (Toulouse or Issy-les-Moulineaux). You will design and implement secure systems for our LEO infrastructure, ensuring compliance with ISO, NIST, ECSS and industry best practices, protecting sensitive information and assets.

You will work with system engineers, IT teams, and external partners to define security requirements, perform risk assessments, and drive secure-by-design practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information security or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect in the space industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001/27005, NIST CSF, ECSS, CCSDS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a comprehensive cyber security architecture framework for space systems.
• Review security documentation: plans, requirements, design, validation and reports.
• Collaborate with system engineering to align security with end-to-end architecture.
• Implement security requirements for systems, networks and applications, focusing on spacecraft security.
• Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments and ensure traceability and evidence management.
• Provide guidance to project teams on secure system design and development and educate teams on threats.
