Job summary

MOBEN&ROOSTER is seeking a Lead Umbilical Engineer to join the engineering team for a major Oil & Gas client in the Paris area. You will lead the technical management of subsea umbilical packages, from design through offshore installation support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

We expect 10+ years in subsea umbilical engineering, with expertise in TPU/STU, EFL/HFL, and power cables, and fluent English. Occasional onshore/offshore assignments may be required during project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of subsea umbilical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of static and dynamic umbilicals, TPU and STU.
• Experience with EFL/HFL technologies and power cables.
• Fluent in English for technical discussions.
• Solid understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of subsea umbilical packages through the full project lifecycle.
• Support FEED and proposal activities and define technical requirements.
• Review vendor documents, monitor manufacturing and testing.
• Coordinate interfaces between topside and subsea production systems.
• Provide offshore installation support and pre-commissioning assistance.
