Anotech in Île-de-France seeks a Lead Discipline Umbilical Engineer to lead technical activities on umbilicals and subsea control systems. You will coordinate with PM, interface with Process, Piping, Installation, SPS and other disciplines while working with autonomy under a discipline manager.

Requires 10+ years in umbilicals, EFL/HFL, cables, and subsea controls; knowledge of oil & gas subsea systems; English required; French beneficial. Certifications like BOSIET/MFC/Seaman Book preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in umbilicals (ST & TPU), EFL/HFL, power cables and subsea control systems.
• Knowledge of oil & gas subsea systems.
• Flexcom calculation capability is a strong asset.
• English required; French beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Market and client studies: technical watch, supplier qualification, cost analyses.
• Project execution follow-up: vendor docs review, fabrication follow-up, FAT supervision.
• Pre-commissioning support: assist with methods for pre-commissioning/installation.
• Offshore operations support: assist during integration tests and offshore activities.
• Topside–SPS interface: coordinate topside with SPS equipment.
• Work autonomously under supervision of a discipline manager.

Lead Discipline Umbilical Engineer

The Lead Discipline Umbilical Engineer is responsible for leading technical activities related to umbilicals and associated subsea control systems. The role requires autonomy, coordination with project management, and close interface with other engineering disciplines (Process, Piping, Installation, SPS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Market & Client Studies: technical watch, supplier qualification, market needs analysis, comparative studies for cost support.
• Project Execution Follow‑up: review of vendor documentation, fabrication follow‑up, qualification testing, FAT supervision.
• Pre‑commissioning Support: assistance to engineering teams for pre‑commissioning and installation methods.
• Offshore Operations Support: operational support during integration tests and offshore activities.
• Topside–SPS Interface: coordination between topside systems and SPS equipment.
• Work performed autonomously, under supervision of a discipline manager.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in:
  • Umbilicals (ST & TPU)
  • EFL/HFL
  • Power cables
  • Subsea control & command systems
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas subsea systems.
• Flexcom (or equivalent) calculation capability is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of other SURF products (e.g., Flexibles) is a plus.
