Job summary

Exotec Solutions SAS in France is seeking a Lead Solutions Engineer for the France region within the Solutions Engineering Western Europe team. You will lead high-impact, complex solutions from concept to delivery, shape customers' logistics strategies, and translate challenges into winning technical sales approaches.

You will collaborate with partners, drive technical excellence, and mentor teams while traveling to client sites twice a month and to headquarters near Lille monthly.

Qualifications

• Experience selling complex solutions in a warehouse automation environment.
• Engineering or supply chain background with track record in complex solution design.
• Proven experience engaging with demanding customers in pre-sales or solution-driven roles.
• Fluent in French and English, able to operate in an international context.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high-impact, complex solutions from concept to delivery (costing, risk, scalability).
• Shape customers’ logistics strategies by challenging status quo and offering value-driven alternatives.
• Translate customer challenges into compelling technical sales strategies that win deals.
• Influence stakeholders by articulating value of Exotec solutions and aligning technically.
• Collaborate with partners and suppliers to co-create best-in-class solutions.
• Drive technical excellence by embedding Exotec methodologies and supporting Sales through complex projects.
• Act as a recognized expert in a key technical domain, elevating team capabilities.
• Create impactful training content and share best practices with teams and partners.

As Lead Solutions Engineer, in charge of France within the Solutions Engineering Western Europe team, you will:

• Lead the design of high-impact, complex solutions, ensuring robustness from concept to delivery (costing, risk mitigation, scalability)
• Shape customers’ logistics strategies by challenging the status quo and proposing innovative, value-driven alternatives
• Translate customer challenges into compelling technical sales strategies that drive winning outcomes
• Influence key stakeholders by clearly articulating the value of Exotec solutions and building strong technical alignment
• Collaborate with partners and suppliers to co-create best-in-class solutions, challenging them to reach the highest standards
• Drive technical excellence by embedding Exotec methodologies and supporting Sales through complex project leadership
• Act as a recognized expert in a key technical domain, elevating team capabilities and decision-making
• Empower teams and partners by creating impactful training content and sharing best practices

Travel is required: twice a month to visit our clients, once a month to our headquarters near Lille.

• Experience selling complex solutions in a warehouse automation environment
• Engineering or supply chain background, with a strong track record in complex solution design
• Proven experience in engaging with demanding customers in a pre-sales or solution-driven environment
• Strong business acumen combined with deep technical expertise
• Ability to influence, convince and navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Natural leadership, with a drive to mentor and elevate others
• Fluent French and English, comfortable operating in an international context.
