Datadog is seeking a strong technical leader to join the Private Action Runner team within the Action Platform group. You will shape core execution layers behind action-taking and remediation capabilities, with hands-on work across architecture, implementation, reliability, and cross-team collaboration.

The role also offers leadership exposure, mentoring a team of 3 engineers, with a path toward Engineering Manager 1 as the team grows.

Formación

• Significant experience with at least one programming language and architectural design.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable systems for high traffic.
• Experience using AI coding tools to improve development workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Solve a scaling bottleneck in a critical service.
• Deploy a new feature to production with feature flags.
• Investigate and fix production issues in owned services.
• Design strategies to scale services for more traffic.
• Plan and prioritize key projects with the team.
• Mentor and lead a small team of engineers (3).
• Position expected to transition to Engineering Manager 1 as team grows.
