iO Associates is seeking a senior systems engineer for satellite operations in Vieille-Toulouse, Occitanie. You will design and execute comprehensive system test campaigns, ensure qualification of complex satellite architectures, and lead cross-functional teams across ground stations, mission control, and spacecraft interfaces.

The role requires hands-on test planning, strong knowledge of PUS, and proven experience in procedures, control & command, and operational standards in aerospace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with satellite operations and full system architecture design.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols, notably PUS.
• Extensive experience in establishing operational protocols and control & command procedures for satellite systems.
• Certification or background in systems engineering or aerospace quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed test scenarios and configurations for full system validation across satellites, control centres, ground stations, and mission centres.
• Create and refine comprehensive test plans and procedures aligned with project objectives.
• Lead and coordinate the execution of system testing and analyze results.
• Investigate test outcomes, propose enhancements to workflows and documentation.
• Document test reports, issue resolution processes, and recommendations for operational improvements.
