Aerospacelab in Toulouse seeks a Satellite Systems Engineer to lead the development of satellite and platform architectures from concept to in-orbit deployment. You will work with the project manager to meet customer needs and push for faster, better, cheaper solutions using Aerospacelab's vertical integration and mass‑manufacturing capabilities.

The role includes defining architecture, managing risks, coordinating across subsystems, supporting tests and launch, and engaging with customers on

Qualifications

8+ years professional experience in satellite engineering or related full-system roles.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to make technical decisions with incomplete information and some risk.

Responsabilités

Define the overall architecture and satellite design meeting mission objectives and perform system trade-offs.
Proactively manage potential technical risks and ensure smooth information flow.
Act as chief engineer coordinating subsystem teams and maintaining system integrity.
Collaborate with unit teams to improve industrial efficiency and cross-domain alignment.
Support test procedures, integration, campaign testing, launch, and in-orbit commissioning.
Support project programmatic aspects including customer interface and development plans.
