Your daily work :

We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic Product team at SBS Digital Lending. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, with a passion for creating intuitive and impactful financial technology solutions, and managing a team of designers. As the Lead Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our lending products, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and drive business value.

Missions :

1. Manage Design Team: Manage and lead the design team, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members.
2. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and supporting them in their career progression.
3. Strategy: Develop and implement Product design strategies that align with the Business Unit’s vision and business objectives along with Head of Product.
4. Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with Head of Product & CTO to define Roadmap planning, plan associated design goals and build execution plan with Designers.
5. Product Delivery: Ensure that all the designers are delivering designs aligned with the Roadmap Planning.
6. Voice of Design: Be the voice of design at SBS Digital Lending, advocating for best practices, user needs, and innovative solutions.
7. Lead Design Initiatives: Take ownership of the design process, from research and concept development to execution and delivery.
8. User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Develop user personas, journey maps, and user flows.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with the Product team, including Product Managers, developers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with product goals.
10. Design Systems: Maintain and update our design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
11. Agile Methodology: Participate in Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
12. Data-Driven Design: Utilize data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes.

Qualifications

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with experience as a lead or mentor.
2. Skills: Strong understanding of UX / UI principles and puts User at the heart of the solution. Detail-oriented and Figma is no secret for you.
3. Communication: Fluent in English. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
4. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a user-centered approach to design.
5. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, open to feedback and improvements.
