Soltage is seeking a Protection and Control (P&C) Engineer to lead P&C, SCADA, and commissioning for standalone energy storage, solar PV, and solar-plus-storage projects in North America. You will manage relay settings, review protection philosophies, and coordinate with utilities and EPCs.

The role involves overseeing SCADA/EMS integration, commissioning procedures, and testing, with a focus on utility-scale reliability and safety. 3–5 years in renewable project engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (Electrical Engineering).
• Experience on renewable construction projects with P&C design & commissioning.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SCADA architectures, RTACs, RTUs, and substation automation.
• Familiarity with North American codes and standards (NERC).

Responsabilités

• Provide P&C, SCADA, RTAC, communications, and commissioning engineering for utility-scale BESS and solar projects.
• Lead development and review of P&C packages, including relay settings coordination and diagrams.
• Develop and review commissioning procedures, relay logic, and test documentation.
• Oversee SCADA and EMS integration, including RTUs, HMIs, historians, and cybersecurity.
• Lead commissioning activities and perform root cause analysis of protection events.
