Genesis is seeking a senior role to own Quadrants end to end, including the API, IR, optimizations, and core primitives. The role focuses on making high-performance Python-friendly tooling with readable APIs, stable backends, and scalable architecture.

Qualificações

• You reason about whole systems and have taste for where complexity should live.
• You measure before you optimize, and you reach for memory traffic and launch overhead before FLOPs.
• You have opinions about API design and write tests and benchmarks as you go.

Responsabilidades

• Own the API and authoring experience for Quadrants, ensuring it is idiomatic and approachable.
• Own IR, lowering, and backends to support differentiable simulation and multiple backends.
• Own optimization, turning naive code into strong execution plans with vectorization, barriers, and memory management.
• Own primitives such as Cholesky, eigendecomposition, matmul, reductions, and solver kernels with correctness benchmarks.
• Watch Genesis and the compiler together to identify performance wins and prevent regressions.
• Define the project as a product by benchmarking workloads, tracking performance, and aligning with Genesis users.
