Genesis AI in France is seeking a senior engineer to own Quadrants end to end: API, IR, lowering, optimizations, and project roadmap. You will push for readable, maintainable Python code while delivering high-performance kernels for physics simulation.

You will balance usability with speed, implement stable backends, and work closely with Genesis engineers to identify performance wins across the system. The role emphasizes API taste, compiler knowledge, tests, and benchmarks, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience designing a usable API for complex numerical software.
• Strong Python programming experience in performance-critical code.
• Understanding of GPUs, memory hierarchies and kernel execution.
• Knowledge of compiler backends, IR, and lowering.
• Proven ability to write tests and benchmarks and measure impact.

Responsabilités

• Own API, IR, lowering, optimization passes, and roadmap for Quadrants.
• Develop stable backends and differentiable simulation support.
• Turn code into fast kernel implementations and maintainability.
