Job summary

Genesis AI is seeking a principled systems engineer to own Quadrants end-to-end: API, IR, lowering, optimization passes, and core primitives. You will ensure usability, correctness and performance across CPU and GPU backends while coordinating with Genesis as the primary workload driver.

You will drive the design of readable, Pythonic APIs for physics simulations and numerical computing, and help push the frontier of compiler-assisted performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with GPU programming and high-performance Python APIs.
• Strong understanding of compilers, IR and lowering.
• Ability to design user-friendly, readable APIs for numerical computing.

Responsibilities

• Own API design, IR and lowering for Quadrants from end to end.
• Develop and optimize primitives and kernels for performance-critical workloads.
• Drive stability, readability, and maintainability of the project while pushing performance.
• Collaborate with Genesis and the compiler team to ship features and track performance.
