Job summary

Genesis is building Genesis-World, a Python-first, open-source simulation platform for physical AI. You will join as a core maintainer, developing the engineering backbone for a large, fast-moving codebase used to simulate complex robotics, with emphasis on infrastructure, tooling, APIs, and scalable experiments.

You will collaborate with physics and compiler teams to improve autodiff, scene editing, extensibility, and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering on large codebases (architecture, refactoring, typing, packaging)
• Experience with developer tooling, test infrastructure, or CI at scale
• Familiarity with JIT compilation, code generation, or GPU computing stacks

Responsibilities

• Review issues and pull requests with the core team
• Answer questions from users and contributors
• Contribute to adoption efforts and community engagement
• Help maintain a scalable testing and reproduction workflow
• Drive API design and platform reliability
