As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide professional patient care to long-term and post-acute care residents. You will direct and monitor the care provided by CNAs and consistently ensure proper documentation and recording is taking place. Your ability to lead is crucial in both the success of the CNAs and the care of the patients.

This role is based in Newark, NY with night shifts (10:00pm–6:00am) and every other weekend.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Timely, accurate medication administration with documentation.
• Performs treatments and documents progress per physician orders.
• Directs CNA assigned to the team in completing care per care plans.
• Transcribes orders and follows up to institute orders in a timely manner.
• Completes required MDS documentation and related observations in a timely manner.
