Jobtailor in Paris is seeking a Senior Cost Estimation Manager to lead the pricing of renovation projects. You will supervise and validate estimates prepared by quantity surveyors and challenge cost breakdowns to protect margins before bids.

You will consolidate pricing practices for the Parisian market, expand and improve the pricing library, and coordinate with sales, technical, and project teams to ensure smooth handovers and successful operational launches.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in construction, cost estimating, or renovation.
• Experience as a Site Manager, Cost Estimation Manager, Account Manager, or Project Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of construction costs and pricing practices in the Parisian market.
• Ability to provide technical challenge to experienced teams.
• Proven experience in team management and coordination.
• Ability to structure, optimize, and scale an organization.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and validate all estimates prepared by the quantity surveyors.
• Review and challenge quantities, cost breakdowns, coefficients, and budget assumptions.
• Ensure pricing is consistent with the realities of the Parisian renovation market.
• Protect margins before bids are submitted.
• Contribute to expanding and improving the reliability of the pricing library.
• Manage and support a team of quantity surveyors.
• Prioritize requests and organize incoming workflows.
• Streamline communication between the sales, technical, and project teams.
• Establish methods to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure the handover of project files to the construction teams.
• Support projects through to their operational launch.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and methods.
• Serve as a key liaison between the company's various departments.
