Equans France is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Guyancourt, Île-de-France. You'll lead the design of high-voltage substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, proficiency in design software, and strong leadership capabilities. This role includes hybrid working and benefits such as profit-sharing and comprehensive insurance. You will coordinate projects while ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in electrical engineering focused on substation and BESS design.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a 'helicopter view' and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review detailed designs and layouts for substations and BESS.
• Provide technical guidance in substation and BESS design.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Perform design reviews and testing to ensure quality and performance.
• Lead engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.

Connaissances

Electrical design software proficiency (AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, Cymcap)

Knowledge of SCADA systems

PLC programming

Testing and commissioning

Formation

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
