A leading renewable energy technology firm in Paris is seeking a skilled professional to design, engineer, and optimize large-scale battery energy storage systems. The role demands a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of battery and power conversion systems, alongside fluency in French and English, is essential. The company offers a dynamic work environment focused on sustainable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in relevant field, preferably incl. experience working for a DNO or TSO.
• Familiarity with grid operator processes.
• Fluent French. Any additional European languages will be a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, engineer, and optimize utility-scale energy storage systems.
• Analyse RFP documentation and assess project scope and risk.
• Collaborate with customers and commercial teams for technical support.

Connaissances

Fluency in technical English

Ability to size the Power Converter System

Familiarity with design concepts related to safety systems

Working knowledge of battery systems

Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for BESS systems

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
