The Mission

I am looking for a Freelance Lead Data Scientist to strengthen their manufacturing projects. You will guide a small data science team, design models with direct impact on production, and work closely with engineers, quality teams, and partners across sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of data scientists during project delivery.
• Develop and deploy predictive models to improve production efficiency and detect anomalies.
• Apply computer vision techniques to support quality control and batch release.
• Translate operational challenges into data-driven solutions with measurable impact.
• Ensure compliance with pharma data integrity standards (GxP, GMP).
• Advise leadership on data strategy and capability growth.

Your Profile

• 5+ years in data science, including team leadership.
• Proven experience with machine learning, Python, and modern DS toolkits.
• Exposure to pharma or manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and French.
