HDR is seeking a Senior Civil Construction Inspector to oversee field activities on civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water facilities. You will document progress, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.

Applicants should have a technical degree or equivalent, 5+ years of inspection experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; substitution with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience allowed.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience.
• Strong written communication and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and document observations of construction for civil projects such as roads and bridges.
• Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other field staff.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs; identify discrepancies.
• Serve as the senior inspector on projects when required.
