Shive-Hattery is seeking a Civil Engineer early in their career to join our Public Infrastructure- Transportation group in the Us. You will design roadway, trail, parking, and site grading while collaborating with a team of professionals across markets including industrial, healthcare, K‑12, commercial, and government sectors.

You will prepare CAD drawings, reports, construction cost opinions, and technical specifications, and assist in onsite construction administration to ensure contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 0–3 years of experience; recent graduate or early career engineer.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals Of Engineering (FE) exam and designation as an Engineer (EI) with drive to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines including planning, organizing, and prioritizing work.
• Valid driver's license and access to vehicle.
• Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms and open grating.
• Pass drug and background screenings required for work at most client sites.

Responsabilités

• Prepare CAD drawings, reports, construction cost opinions, and technical specifications.
• Design responsibilities include roadway, trail, and parking lot design; site grading; and storm water management.
• Involve in construction phasing, traffic control, and other site design components.
• Assist onsite construction administration and observation to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents.
• Work across diverse projects spanning industrial, healthcare, K‑12, commercial, and government sectors.
