Job summary

Airbus ExO Autonomy SAS in Toulouse is seeking a Lead AI, Video Analytics and Aircraft Integration Engineer to drive vision-based solutions for the Airbus UpNext demonstrator. You will move prototypes from lab to aircraft, integrating cameras and compute, and defining interfaces with aircraft systems.

This role requires 5+ years shipping ML/CV to production, strong Python and PyTorch, edge deployment on platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, and experience with privacy, safety reviews and DO-178C/DO-254.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping ML or computer-vision systems to production.
• Strong Python skills with PyTorch, ONNX and TensorRT.
• Experience with edge/embedded deployment and multi-sensor fusion.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture to move prototype from lab to aircraft.
• Integrate cameras and on-board compute, define interfaces with aircraft systems.
• Build validation processes including datasets, metrics and calibration.
• Lead introduction of new algorithms and sensors, including multi-sensor fusion.
• Set engineering standards: testing, reproducibility, model versioning, CI.
• Collaborate with certification, safety and privacy stakeholders for DO-178C/DO-254.
