Job summary

One of Us is seeking a seasoned 2D Supervisor to lead the compositing team in Paris, with close collaboration to the London team. You will drive creative and technical direction, supervise the production pipeline, and ensure high-quality shot delivery.

You will guide junior to senior artists, manage reviews, and coordinate with VFX and CG supervisors. The role is hybrid, requiring presence in the Paris office several days per week and cross-site coordination.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a VFX environment.
• Excellent communication across teams and departments.
• Deep understanding of film VFX processes and pipeline.
• Expert user of Nuke.
• Highly organized and proactive in problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 2D compositing team and oversee quality of shots across projects.
• Brief artists, provide constructive feedback, and review frames before submission.
• Collaborate with VFX and CG supervisors and on-set VFX when needed.
• Direct tasks to junior, mid and senior artists and manage production workflow.
• Attend client reviews and lead daily reviews with the compositing team.
• Balance creative and technical aspects while addressing technical notes.
