Job summary

One of Us Ltd is seeking a 2D Supervisor to lead the 2D team in Paris, collaborating with London colleagues to shape the department’s direction. You will oversee compositing, provide feedback, and drive the look development, ensuring consistency across shots and projects.

You will manage workflow and pipeline, contribute to production bidding, and collaborate with VFX and CG Supervisors. A strong leadership mindset and deep VFX knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a 2D/VFX team.
• Excellent communication within team and other departments.
• Deep understanding of film VFX processes and pipeline.
• Nuke expertise.
• Strong eye for detail and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review the 2D team, addressing tech notes and ensuring high-quality frames.
• Schedule work with production and oversee client reviews.
• Direct tasks to junior, mid and senior artists and ensure consistency.
• Develop production methodologies and improve the 2D pipeline, including stereoscopic work.
• Provide on-set VFX supervision for 2D-based projects.
