Job summary

Presto Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Test Hardware Engineer to join the Hardware Design Team in Caen, France. You will design electronic boards to test components both on wafer and in package, interfacing with ATE and DUT per procedures and quality standards.

You will execute board development, validate designs, write reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. English is required; the role supports flexible working from home occasionally and mostly based at the Caen office.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Bac +5) in Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience designing electronic boards.
• Strong knowledge of PCB technologies and component testing.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware Test boards for electronic components according to customer specifications and quality procedures.
• Manage development of Test HW boards by subcontractors.
• Perform measurements to validate boards before use.
• Write validation reports and technical documentation per quality procedures.
• Communicate project progress internally.
• Contribute to implementation of new tools and improvement of techniques.
