SGI is seeking a freelance C Software & Electronics Test Engineer in the Versailles area to support testing and validation of electronic boards within a V-cycle development environment.

You will develop the software and test approaches required to validate manufactured PCBs, reading schematics and working with test benches to ensure robust hardware/software integration.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in software/electronics testing.
• Experience testing PCBs and electronic boards.
• Fluent French required.
• Available to work onsite 5 days per week in the Versailles area.

Freelance C Software & Electronics Test Engineer – Versailles Area

Location: Versailles area, France

Working model: 5 days onsite

Duration: Long-term freelance mission – 2–3 years

The Role

We are looking for a C Software & Electronics Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of electronic boards within a V-cycle development environment.

You will work with manufactured PCBs, understand their functionality from electronic schematics, and independently develop the software and test approach required to validate them.

Responsibilities

• Develop test software in C.
• Test and validate PCBs and electronic boards.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Develop and execute tests using electronic test benches.
• Perform hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.
• Work with analogue electronics and test equipment.
• Support verification and validation throughout the V-cycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in software/electronics testing.
• Experience testing and validating PCBs/electronic boards.
• Experience with test benches / bancs de test.
• Good understanding of analogue electronics and electronic schematics.
• Experience with LabWindows/CVI / National Instruments is highly desirable.
• Able to work autonomously with limited technical input.
• Fluent French is mandatory.
• Available to work 5 days per week onsite in the Versailles area.
