Big Science Sweden is seeking a candidate for the HSE-RP-AS section at CERN, focusing on radiation protection related to accelerators and experimental areas. This position primarily operates at the Prevessin site, encompassing significant experiments at the LHC.

Ideal candidates should hold a general secondary education diploma and have a maximum of two years of relevant professional experience. Those with advanced degrees are not eligible to apply.

You would join the HSE-RP-AS (Accelerators & Sites) section who is in charge of all radiation protection aspects related to the design and operation of accelerators and experimental areas at CERN. This role would primarily be based at the Prevessin site and includes the four Large Experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), namely ATLAS, CMS, LHCb and ALICE.

• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Radiation Protection (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
• Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.
