Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB invites applications for an Assistant Civil Engineer in Austin, TX. You will support project teams from concept through construction across power, process, pipeline and facilities, adapting civil plans to budget and client needs.

Under supervision of licensed engineers, you will assist with drawings, field measurements, and presentations, while developing fundamentals in civil design and CAD tools. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly.
• Basic knowledge in standard civil engineering techniques, principles and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil design of projects from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings in CAD software.
• Support field inspections, measurements, and calculations.
• Assist with client presentations and contract administration.
• Collaborate with project teams across multiple facilities.
