BlaBlaCar is seeking a Junior Backend Engineer to join a small full-stack squad building the Phoenix back-office system for Care flows. You’ll work on Java microservices and collaborate with CRT and Product Managers to deliver integrated features.

You'll contribute from design to deployment, learn frontend concepts with React/TypeScript, and adapt in a fast-paced, product-focused environment while communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and Spring ecosystems.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture concepts.
• Willingness to use AI tools and learn frontend (React/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Datadog is a plus.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with engineering and non-technical stakeholders to shape features for production.
• Develop and maintain Java microservices serving Care flows for BlaBlaCar.
• Contribute to full application lifecycle: design, test, deploy, monitor and support.
• Share knowledge through documentation, code reviews, and best practices.
