BlaBlaCar is seeking a confirmed Backend Engineer to join the Carpool Supply team. You will help grow long-distance carpool usage and revenue by building the backend that powers the carpool inventory.

You will work with a multi-stack team and collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver robust backend solutions, leveraging geospatial services and external APIs for routes and search.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Java language and ecosystem.
• Experience with microservices in production environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and evolve backend services serving carpool inventory.
• Own substantial features from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and designers to shape requirements.
• Maintain code quality and conduct thorough reviews.
