Job summary

Thundersoft is seeking an IDC on-site technician to perform 7x24 and 5x8 duties, respond to incidents, and execute work orders in alignment with service SLAs. You will be familiar with IDC environments, monitor systems, and proactively identify risks through regular inspections.

You should be proficient in ticketing systems, SOP workflows, and manage all work orders with high accuracy while understanding data center equipment and site deployment standards.

• Major: Computer-related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform 7×24 and 5×8 IDC on-site duties per Client requirements.
• Respond to incidents and execute work orders per SLA.
• Familiar with IDC environment and monitoring systems; identify risks via routine inspections; handle emergencies per EOP; record data and produce preliminary reports.
• Master the ticketing system and SOP workflows; complete work orders with zero errors and SLA compliance.
• Understand IDC equipment (switches, servers, cables); perform installation, racking, deployment and maintenance; conduct site surveys and provide on-site support.
• Engage in minor construction and issue reporting as required.

Job description

1. Perform 7×24 and 5×8 IDC (Internet Data Center) on-site duties as per Client requirements.

2. Respond to incidents and execute work orders, including temporary tasks, in accordance with service SLA requirements.

3. Be familiar with IDC environment and monitoring systems, proactively identifying and assessing risks through routine inspections. Handle emergency incidents swiftly and accurately following EOP processes, ensuring proper incident data recording and preliminary report output.

4. Be proficient in the ticketing system, master SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) workflows, and strictly adhere to them. Independently complete all work orders while ensuring zero errors and meeting SLA compliance rates. 5. Have a thorough understanding of IDC equipment, including switches, servers, cables, and installation, racking, deployment, and maintenance standards. Execute site surveys, on-site support, minor construction, and issue reporting as required.

Educational Background:
