GEODIS is seeking an IT Project Leader – Customer Solutions & Projects in the Île-de-France region. You will own delivery of IT projects for Freight Forwarding customers, from requirements with sales and operations to go-live and handover to IT Operations.

The role requires coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across geographies, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery with quality standards and robust documentation.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field
• 5–8 years in IT project management
• Experience with Freight Forwarding IT applications and customer integrations (EDI, API)
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Responsabilidades

• Lead IT projects from kick-off to go-live for Freight Forwarding customers
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets per GEODIS standards
• Translate customer requirements into clear IT specifications with stakeholders
• Coordinate developers, EDI analysts, solution experts and vendors across time zones
• Identify risks, define mitigations, and escalate issues to management as needed
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and test plans (UAT, go/no-go)
• Present status reports with milestones, KPIs and budget updates to stakeholders
• Document project work for audits and future reference
• Handover to IT Operations with thorough knowledge transfer and documentation

The IT Project Leader – Customer Solutions & Projects leads the IT projects delivered to Freight Forwarding customers: customer onboarding, EDI / API integrations, visibility and customer-specific solutions. Reporting to the Manager Customer Projects, he/she owns delivery end to end, from requirement gathering with the customer and business teams to go-live and handover to IT Operations, making sure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and at the expected quality level.

Main Activities

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of customer IT projects, from kick-off to go-live.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets, in line with GEODIS project methodology and standards.
• Gather and challenge requirements with the customer, Sales / BD and Operations, and translate them into clear IT specifications.
• Coordinate the project team (developers, EDI analysts, solution experts, vendors) across geographies and time zones.
• Identify project risks, define mitigation plans, solve issues and escalated to management when needed.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications (test strategy, customer UAT, go / no-go).
• Prepare and present project status reports (milestones, KPIs, budget, risks) to management and stakeholders.
• Maintain complete project documentation for future reference and audit purposes.
• Secure the handover to IT Operations (Move-to-BAU) with the right level of documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Use EDI knowledge to support data exchange design (message flows, mapping) and help create and maintain data dictionaries.

Education

Master's degree (Bac+5) in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field

Experience

5 to 8 years' experience in IT project management, ideally on customer projects in Supply Chain / Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Plus

EDI knowledge (EDIFACT, X12, XML / API) and data mapping; Agile / Scrum or PM certification (PMP, Prince2)
