European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and HealthCare (EDQM) in Strasbourg is seeking a Head of the IT Infrastructure & Client Services Section to lead the IT environment, modernise systems, and deliver secure, reliable digital services within budget. You will drive automation, open-source initiatives, and DevOps practices.

You will manage IT projects, ensure service continuity, oversee the Service Desk and M365/Teams support, and maintain essential IT documentation and KPIs.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in IT infrastructure management or related fields.
• Proficiency in operating servers (Windows, VMware, open source), networks and cloud (Azure, M365), including security, service continuity, backups and identity/account management.
• Experience managing IT projects with knowledge of ITIL practices or ISO 20000.
• Very good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the Council of Europe (English or French) and basic knowledge of the other or the ability to learn it.

Responsabilités

• Lead IT Infrastructure & Client Services to ensure secure operation and optimal user experience.
• Oversee the Service Desk and IT hardware management.
• Provide support for M365, Teams and videoconferencing, as well as on-site assistance.
• Maintain documentation, the CMDB and procedures; monitor SLAs and KPIs.
