The Recruiter is assisting an international retailer based in Annecy, France in recruiting an IT B2B Director (m/f) to lead the technology organisation behind its B2B platform. The role reports to the IT Senior Director Digital Technologies and forms one of three pillars of the new Digital Technologies department.

You will own the B2B technology strategy, oversee delivery, run and enablement, manage budgets and drive AI adoption across the B2B ecosystem, coordinating with global and regional

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership experience in B2B, commerce or enterprise platforms.
• Proven delivery of complex replatforming and multi-stream programs.
• Experience communicating with ExecBoard and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting at scale and vendor management.
• Solid understanding of AI and its delivery integration.
• Fluent English; French language is a strong asset.

Our client is an international retailer which is historically based in Annecy, France. As its B2B commerce platform has just been fully replatformed and the US becomes its main growth engine, the company is looking for a IT B2B Director (m/f) to lead the technology organisation behind this business.

This senior leadership role reports directly to the IT Senior Director Digital Technologies and is one of three pillars of the newly built Digital Technologies department.

Missions

• Lead the B2B technology organisation, across the full delivery, run and business enablement scope, and support the team through its transition.
• Take ownership of the newly replatformed B2B environment as it goes live, and own the delivery portfolio, on time and on budget.
• Support growth in the US and internationally, balancing a global platform standard with regional specificities in B2B selling.
• Develop the management layer below you, and represent the function at ExecBoard level.
• Define the B2B technology strategy, drive sourcing decisions and manage the budget with full accountability.
• Drive AI adoption across B2B, in partnership with the AI Delivery teams.

Profile

You have led technology organisations in B2B, commerce or enterprise platform environments, with proven experience in delivery, run, and integration into a complex ecosystem.

You bring:

• Senior technology leadership experience, including managing complex delivery portfolios (replatforming, multi-stream) and business-critical operations.
• Proven ease operating and communicating at ExecBoard level, with Commercial, Sales and Finance stakeholders.
• Experience developing managers and supporting teams through change.
• Experience in budget management at scale and vendor relationship management.A solid understanding of AI and how it integrates into delivery practices.
• Fluent English required; French is a strong asset.
