Job summary

Cartan Trade is seeking a senior IT leader to run the information system on behalf of the CTO. You will ensure availability, security, compliance, vendor relations and budget while the CTO focuses on strategy and risk models.

From January 2027 you will inherit responsibilities from the Transformation & Adoption head and drive AI adoption across the business. You will manage a core-system replacement, data migration, and a modern cloud-based architecture, ensuring alignment with GDPR and

Qualifications

• 7+ years running information systems, ideally in insurance, banking or a regulated financial environment.
• Experience through core-system replacement or data migration, on operations and business-acceptance sides.
• Hybrid IS governance (collaboration suite, public cloud, IAM, backups), modern SaaS CRM administration, data literacy (SQL, cloud warehouse, flows).
• Solid understanding of LLMs and AI assistants, their limits and risks; GDPR, ISO 27001, EU AI Act.
• Experience in change management and in rolling out AI tools to business users.
• Pedagogical, rigorous, autonomous within a delegated scope and knowing when to escape to the CTO.
• Fluent French, professional English.

Responsibilities

• Run the IS — availability, continuity of applications, data platform, user support, incidents, vendor relations, budget tracking.
• Security posture and compliance: define policies with CTO, GDPR, audits, data minimisation.
• Keep transformation moving: integrated plan, environments, cut-overs, data reconciliation, change management.
• Administer AI adoption: manage pilots, cost, connectors, measure adoption and value monthly.
