CMA CGM in Marseille is seeking a motivated Bac+5 student for a 6-month SRM internship in Purchasing. You will support data analytics, KPI dashboards, and the management of supplier performance in an international setting.

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Department, you will help define strategies, contribute to price and performance databases, and assist in supplier reviews with cross-functional teams. Strong Excel, Power BI, and English are required.

Qualifications

• Bac +5 student in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Project Management.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot, Power Query) and PowerPoint required.
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Department, within the Container Handling Equipment (CHE) Purchasing Department, you contribute to continuous improvement and purchasing performance projects carried out on an international scale.

Supporting the Category Management team, you take part in defining and deploying CAPEX and OPEX purchasing strategies, analyzing performance data, and improving the processes and tools used to optimize the management of the supplier panel and equipment.

You work in an international environment, interacting with numerous internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Technical) as well as external partners (manufacturers and strategic suppliers).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TODO ?

• Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Collect, structure, and analyze purchasing and supplier data
  • Build and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Produce regular reporting for management and stakeholders
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of the data used by the team

Profile description:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• You are a Bac + 5 student (Business School, Engineering School, or University) specializing in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Project Management; a first experience in purchasing, management control, or data analysis is a plus
• You have strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, data analysis) and PowerPoint, along with knowledge of data analysis and reporting; familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You are rigorous, analytical, curious, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a taste for teamwork in an international environment.
